ITINERARY

Vietnam TravelDay 1 — Ho Chi Minh City
Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Overnight in HCMC.

Vietnam TravelDay 2 — Ho Chi Minh City / Cu Chi Tunnels (B,L)
Get to know Ho Chi Minh City during a city tour, beginning at the former Presidential Palace, which served as the South Vietnamese government’s wartime headquarters. Enjoy visits to a local contemporary art museum and modern art gallery. Afternoon transfer to Cu Chi Tunnels, the famous underground network from which North Vietnamese forces operated in wartime. Overnight in HCMC.

Vietnam TravelDay 3 — Ho Chi Minh City / Mekong Delta (B,L,D)
Breakfast in hotel and you will head south to the Mekong River town of Cai Be. From there travel by coach and ferry to the busy river port and provincial capital of Can Tho.Discover the lush beauty of the Mekong Delta as you wind your way down narrow canals on a sampan that glides along fruit orchards, paddy fields and sleepy villages; visit a floating market, where vendors display the delta's bounty of fruits and vegetables on their boats. Today you will stay at the local’s house to experience the real lifes of Mekong Delta: cook and have dinner with the local host. Overnight in homestay Can Tho.

Vietnam TravelDay 4 — Mekong Delta / HCMC (B,L)
After breakfast, we will proceed to visit the Cai Rang floating village early in the morning. Sampan cruise into the small canals of the mighty Mekong river. Back to the homestay to say goodbye to our host, and then transfer back to HCMC. Overnight in HCMC.

Vietnam TravelDay 5 — Ho Chi Minh City / Danang / Hoi An (B,D)
Enjoy a day at leisure before departing to airport for your flight. On arrival, transfer to your hotel in Hoi An. Enjoy a walking tour of the nearby World Heritage site of Hoi An. This fascinating town still reflects many ancient traditions as well as the diverse architectural styles from the Dutch, Chinese, Portuguese, and Japanese traders who helped build it. Welcome dinner in local restaurant. Overnight in Hoi An homestay.

Vietnam TravelDay 6 — Hoi An exploring day (B,L)
The day starts with a bicycle ride to Tra Que Village, where you can try out your gardening skills in Vietnamese way with the farmers. Another short bicyle ride to get to the wharf and board to fishing boat and learn casting net instructed by a local fishermen. Along with a fun day, you also will get on basket boat going through the water coconut river, you may find your luck catching some crabs. Lunch time following with traditional music performed by the local people. A boat trip back into town at 2pm will end the day. Cycle back to your hotel. Overnight in Hoi An homestay.

Vietnam TravelDay 7 — Hoi An / Da Nang / Hue (B,L,D)
Depart for the ancient imperial capital of Hue, on the way stopping to visit Marble Mountain, Cham Museum, get onto Hai Van pass for a magnificient view on a clear day. Lunch in local restaurant. Upon arrival in Hue, after checking in the hotel, visit the Imperial Citadel, once housing the Forbidden Purple City where emperors lived with their families. Visit the Central Market where locals buy fish, meat, produce, and sundry goods. Dinner tonight is accompanied by traditional music. Overnight in Hue.

Vietnam TravelDay 8 — Hue (B,L)
Well-rested in a quiet Hue, today you will boarding the dragon boat to visit Thien Mu Pagoda on Huong River. Continue to the local village, walking/ bicycling around to visit the garden-house, the typical architecture in Hue, visit an incense making family. Lunch with Hue specilaties. Have a foot massage in traditional herbs before leaving the village to visit Tu Duc and Minh Mang Tombs. Back to hotel in the afternoon. Overnight in Hue.

Vietnam TravelDay 9 — Hue / Hanoi (B,D)
Leisure time before take a flight to Hanoi. Upon on arrival, transfer and check in to hotel. Dinner in local restaurant and water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi.

Vietnam TravelDay 10 — Hanoi (B,L)
Hanoi is both the political and cultural capital of Vietnam with its stylish French accents and thousand-year-old landmarks. Explore the complex of cultural and historic sites of Ba Dinh Square, then visit the mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, the Presidential Palace, and One Pillar Pagoda. Continue on a city tour to view Hoan Kiem Lake, the marvelous Temple of Literature, Hoa Lo Prison, also known as the “Hanoi Hilton”, and the narrow streets of the diverse Ancient Quarter. Overnight in Hanoi.

Vietnam TravelDay 11 – Hanoi / Halong (B,L,D)
After breakfast at hotel, around 8-8.30, pick up for a 3.5h drive to Halong. About 11.30-12.00, you are welcomed on boat and have set lunch while cruising in the bay. Depends on which cruise you choose, the detailed itinerary will basically included visit Amazing cave, kayaking (extra option), and swimming in crystal water and enjoy the landscape. Dinner and overnight on the cruise. Overnight on Junk in Halong Bay.

Vietnam TravelDay 12 – Halong / Hanoi (Brunch)
Wake up on the bay to the sounds of waves, fresh air and breeze welcoming the new day. After breakfast, visit a beautiful limestone grotto then walk back to the boat for a final glimpse of Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock. The boat arrives at the harbor by 11.30am and your driver is waiting to take you back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

Vietnam TravelDay 13 — Hanoi and surroundings (B,L)
Outskirts of Hanoi is always exciting to visit. An ancient village with a lunch hosted by local people, combining with a tranquil temple visit will give you a perfect view on the typical Northern hospitality and way of life. Back to Hanoi in the afternoon. Overnight in Hanoi.
